Seasoning Stixs International, located in Seal Beach, California, was organized in 2014 in order to bring this culinary innovation to the marketplace. Throughout 2014 and 2015 the focus of the Company was to settle on a manufacturing process and to further ensure intellectual property protection of the invention.
We quickly learned, however, that an innovative product, such as Seasoning Stixs, required an innovative manufacturing solution. There simply were not any off the shelf manufacturing solutions that would enable us to produce Seasoning Stixs without adding unhealthful ingredients such as high fructose corn syrup, preservatives, or food colorings and to produce the product in sufficient quantities to meet expected consumer demand.
In early 2016, we had a research and development breakthrough when we realized we did not need to invent any new technology all in order to produce Seasoning Stixs. We simply modified an old world 13th century food production methodology that today allows us to produce Seasoning Stixs in a healthful and high-volume manner. The actual process is a trade secret.
Moving into the rest of 2016, the management teams focus is on introducing the product to the marketplace via both direct sales and licensing of the technology to companies already involved in the market for seasonings, spices, and specialty foods
